This website is intended to be both an exploration and a celebration of what I have come to call Universal Transformative Spirituality - and its often difficult but liberating practice. Therefore, this website is not a religious one in the conventional sense in that it does not seek to exclusively advocate any particular religious view or practice. Nor does seek to advocate any form of new-age translative spirituality; sometimes rather unflatteringly described, and quite accurately so in my opinion, as cafeteria or supermarket spirituality - ie; I'll have a little portion of this... and a bigger bit of that... and, hmmm, well, let me see....
Instead, the One-Great-Spirit website will try to navigate a liberating and transformative spiritual course between the restrictive and elitist dogmas of most conventional religions on the one hand and the many forms of reckless, ego-worshiping "spiritual paths" of the new-age movement on the other.
In humanities great evolutionary journey from the primordial sludge to the authentic spiritual enlightenment of human consciousness, lies a vast ascending spectrum of spiritual attainment; each wavelength or level of which has its own specific and legitimate needs, and its own unique virtues and vices. Consequently, the paths people choose to follow in life are many. I honor and respect them all. Each has its place in the grand scheme of things - otherwise they simply would not be. Does any one of those many and divergent paths hold a monopoly on Truth? I think not. Are all paths equal then? Again, in the relative realm at least, I most certainly think not. In the relative realm "truth" is a sliding, hierarchical, vertical scale - not a flat-land, horizontal one.
In this there is no exception here for modern science either. In fact of all the many and varied belief systems on our planet today the beliefs of the modern day materialists must be right up there - and high - among the strangest. For example consider this; that at some point in that great evolutionary journey we have just been talking about - dirt somehow accidently got up and started writing poetry! So science too has its virtues and its vices. Insisting that only those things that can be weighed and measured are really "real" must surely be one of the chief examples of the latter.
Ultimately though, "Real Spirituality" and "Real Science" are the same thing. Presently you could call the former Reality "from the top down" and the latter Reality "from the bottom up". Both of these movements of Spirit are absolutely essential and convergence in time is their ultimate omega point. Until then I hope that you will join me here from time to time as this site develops.

It also includes much of my own continuing - and often harrowing - experiences with these devasting modern-plague illnesses; illustrated, where possible, with many colour photographs and two short home-made video films.
